Founded in 1963 as the first adventure club in Singapore, SAC is an all-volunteer club that offers a wide spectrum of adventurous activities - trekking, camping, mountaineering, rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, etc. SAC has over 600 members currently and they come from all walks of life and age groups. Membership is open to all residents of Singapore who are 14 years of age and above. The Club's patron is Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to scale Mt Everest. |

only charitable organisation founded by the disabled, which is run by
disabled volunteers for the benefit of the disabled. It provides a wide
